It is insane to put this on Android and not iOS.
- Comment on Barack Obama: “For elevator music, AI is going to work fine. Music like Bob Dylan or Stevie Wonder, that's different” 11 months ago:

- Comment on Tesla will sue you for $50,000 if you try to resell your Cybertruck in the first year 1 year ago:
It is bizarre how much of a comic book villain Musk has turned in to.
- Comment on ‘Nothing is changing’ — Reddit is denying a report from The Washington Post that it might force users to log in to see content if it can’t reach deals with AI companies 1 year ago:
Too bad builtin reddit search completely sucks.
- Comment on Google sued for negligence after man drove off collapsed bridge while following map directions 1 year ago:
Google maps doesn’t do user supplied maps. 230 isn’t relevant.

- Comment on Marvel Visual Effects Workers Unanimously Vote “Yes” to Unionize 1 year ago:

- Comment on Apple’s new USB-C iPhone cables and dongles are predictably expensive 1 year ago:
Consumers should buy the cheapest quality product the market will bear. Anything else would be a disservice to their peers.
- Comment on Apple’s new USB-C iPhone cables and dongles are predictably expensive 1 year ago:
You probably won’t get full charging speed. An actual type-c cable gives higher watts than lightning.
- Comment on NFL 'Sunday Ticket' expected to have major delays on YouTube TV. 1 year ago:
“ Think of cable as delivering all pieces in one truck whereas streaming must send different pieces through different delivery trucks," said Biao Chen, a professor of electrical engineering
And again, the Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It’s not a big truck. It’s a series of tubes - Ted Stevens (R-Alaska)
But seriously, if they aren’t as delayed as the pirate sites they are doing fine. ESPN’s streaming isn’t much behind live tv.
- Comment on Lab-grown Meat is not a Climate Change Solution 1 year ago:
I think the article is worried government will be distracted by cultured meat possibilities and use it as an excuse not to do anything about the problem of the current cattle industry. Politicians might think a little subsidy for fake meat is all they need to do and not actively discourage cattle (which is hard politically).
- Comment on IGN | Rotten Tomatoes Under Fire After PR Firm's Scheme to Pay Critics for Positive Reviews Uncovered 1 year ago:
Forget aggregators. Find a couple critics you usually agree with. People have different tastes.
- Comment on Google's Web DRM is Worse than I Thought... 1 year ago:
The website you want won’t let you in with firefox. Only chrome on windows with secure boot enabled and no untrusted drivers or dev mode and https-dns to avoid your pihole.
- Comment on What Time Dilation ACTUALLY Is In Relativity (Hint: It has nothing to do with time) 1 year ago:
This video makes an analogy between a light clock and a sound clock. Showing that a clock that bounces sound back and forth for each tick will encounter time dilation under movement similar to special relativity. It proposes that light literally is a wave in the aether and scientific consensus is suppressing this truth. It insults other physics youtubers and invites the viewer to continue with them on a new revolution in science.

- Comment on HP printer USB port covered with warning sticker in hopes you won't use it | Boing Boing 1 year ago:
Be sure to research the ink sponge situation on the ecotank. When it is full, epson has drm to force you to get licensed service to replace it. No expensive cartridges, but expensive sponge instead.
