They will go bad things. They have a proven track record. So fear? Sure. No uncertainty or doubt though.
- Comment on I remember getting a PS3 just to avoid this back then 11 months ago:
I don’t doubt this this is generally the case, but most of the games I enjoy playing with friends offer their own servers. Which got me thinking about it, and they tend to be indie games.
So it’s not gone. Niche, perhaps.

I’m not much of a fan of Discovery, as many Trek fans seem to be. It’s alright though. But this aspect I found myself enjoying. I liked the whole mycelium network angle.

I love it! I think these two might be my favorite pairing of the entire franchise.

Yeah, I have to use Microsoft products for work and I’ve stumbled across their forums for issues before. I don’t think it’s ever once been helpful. Solutions on Linux forums are hit and miss, but still much better.
Welcome to the Linux community!

Glad it worked out!
Disclaimer: soapbox. I feel like Windows is commonly considered to be user friendly. It may be easy enough to use, but I find it’s quite user hostile.

My two cents is that it’s a bit unintuitive, but ymmv. It’s not overly difficult though, and a great piece of software. So do try!
- Comment on Microsoft Edge could use a win 1 year ago:
It depends on what circles you’re in I suppose. But I suspect you’re right for most people that dislike it. For some of us it’s the Chromium engine it runs on, and/or the company it comes from.
- Comment on Which software do you mostly use for programming, and why? 1 year ago:
Oh I wouldn’t say I’m a beginner. I’ve been scripting and coding for… 20 something years. I’m just not very skilled. Stuff I write tends to be simple and small, so all I really want from my editing is auto indenting and syntax highlighting.
I think if I was trying to manage a larger project I might find use in an IDE, though perhaps it is more of a crutch.

Vim.
If I were a more competent coder I might use a bigger IDE, but for the basic stuff I do, it works great for me.
