Just the left one. I’m taking this virginity to my grave and my impressively godlike asexuality cannot be stopped.
But romance is so good.
- Comment on [question] help me pick a game 5 days ago:
One playthrough in Nier: Automata is about 55 hours. The game subdivides itself into five chapters and gives each one a lettered ending. Stopping at the first ending is akin to stopping the bible at Deuteronomy and saying “neat, I got the whole story.”
Each further chapter is dramatically different than the one that came before.

What do they even have to gain from that, hucking chairs at underpaid employees that are just trying to cook breakfasts for people? Who even shows up to a Waffle House, all “I’m gonna make sure to get some felonies before I’m done eating,” and just not even backing down?

Counterpoint—I use em-dashes cause I like them, and that makes people think I’m a robot. Fuck ‘em, I can be a robot if I wanna be.

Dream Quest had a similar aesthetic to this. The developer realized he couldn’t draw, had no graphic design sensibilities, but an astounding game design, and he leaned the fuck in.
It rivals Slay the Spire in mechanics, and it rivals my skill with MS Paint!

Most of them are ~3,000 word epub files, but several of them get bound together in a physical volume. Chuck also writes whole-ass mainstream horror too, those can be found at bookstores.

And if you’ve never heard of Chuck Tingle, I am not joking.
Might even be underselling it a bit.

Yeah, you’re taking pictures of Chuck Tingle’s yard, leave the man alone, he works hard for us. Where else are you gonna find well-crafted erotica about sexy lawyer dinosaurs and bigfoots who are both billionaires and bomb defusal technicians trained in the art of love?

Let me guess, his opposition bowed out of the race with tears on his face because he could not understand a North Korea without Kim Jong Un?
- Comment on Fashion is just someone popular telling you that you should wear the clothes that they like. 3 weeks ago:
I’m not sure this is accurate.
Fashion is using the tools you find (ie clothing, accessories, shoes) to make a statement or an aesthetic which suits you and perhaps impresses others (if you care to), being resourceful with your findings to create art on your own body with cloth.
Despite my aesthetic not being seen in the greater public, mine is still considered fashion. I dress like an android, with sharp angles and unusual, attention-grabbing cuts, and most folks out there are on the same jeans-and-hoodie look from fifteen years ago (which isn’t bad, it’s an old standby for a reason).
Fashion is however you present yourself, provided it was done with mindfulness and attention.

I would like to recommend Koriko: a Magical Year.
In this game, you’d play as a sixteen year old witch who goes to the town or city of Koriko to pursue witchcraft and make friends and develop as a person over a year. Using one game book (or a PDF), 21d6 which are primarily for stacking on top of each other, a journal which should look and feel like a spell book, and a deck of tarot cards, the game feels like Kiki’s Delivery Service meets Persona, and I adore it so very much.
My own version of Koriko is a massive futuristic megalopolis, and magic only works when the ingredients are grown from the ground instead of replicated.
I highly recommend this game!

I remember watching a CRT television belted to a five-foot tall roller stand, and we had suspended all classes that day, even though we were at school. We had just sat there, crying and watching the news, as both towers were smoking, then one had collapsed and myself and other kids had screamed, wailed, and one vomited there on the carpet. Occasionally someone would get pulled away to take a phone call, and they didn’t come back the same. They changed. We all changed.
I still remember Kevin Cosgrove’s last phone call.
