If you dont live in America, stfu. We don’t care about your opinion on how Americans are acting towards other Americans. Your small exposure to the population means nothing.
- Comment on USA | California governor vetoes bill requiring speeding alerts in new cars 1 month ago:
Highway speeds are already dangerous. Living in utter fear of people marginally over the speed limit to think an irritating beep is justified the moment you exceed the limit is a sad existence to torment yourself with.
- Comment on USA | California governor vetoes bill requiring speeding alerts in new cars 1 month ago:
Do you legitimately believe getting in an accident going the speed limit on the highway is less dangerous than 5 or 10 mph hours over?

They can just plug it back in. It’ll be ok.

This practice is rampant across industries and only getting worse. We must demand an end to it through legislation.

It’s not illegal to unplug something

This shit has got to be outlawed. Companies are doing this across the board. Literally sporting labor laws, outsourcing jobs that should be going to us citizens, all to just continue pouring more money into the tops pockets. When will we have all had enough?

What a consumer will tolerate has nothing to do with it either. If a consumers only choices are all aligned, you’re shit out of luck.

Is the Chinese company doing it in pursuit of destabilizing the United Dtates population for the betterment of the CCP and its interests?

Why is Chinese tiktok different than that in the states then?
- Comment on 30% of Children Ages 5-7 Are on TikTok 6 months ago:
It’s not the same. China wants to fuck up the American youth. That’s why their version of tiktok is so different from ours. But you already knew that I’m sure
- Comment on 30% of Children Ages 5-7 Are on TikTok 6 months ago:
People love to repeat this, but US companies aren’t coming from a place of hostile intent like china’s special brand of tik tok for the states.

- Comment on Calif. fast-food chains slash workers as $20-an-hour minimum wage looms 7 months ago:
Why should the poor pay half their paychecks to taxes while the rich pay less than 40%, if they actually pay any taxes at all rather than utilize tax loopholes to avoid paying.
- Comment on Calif. fast-food chains slash workers as $20-an-hour minimum wage looms 7 months ago:
I agree, the rich should pay their fair share of taxes!

Look no further than Europe to see the same franchises fully staffed, paying better wages and charging marginally different prices. America gonna do the American thing at first. They’ll get with the program eventually.

You’ll hate to hear this, but restaurants struggling to fill positions and having to offer more benefits and pay to attract wait staff is the only way to end tipping culture. Tipping will never end itself.

- Comment on Senators Introduce ‘Fans First’ Bill Intended to Reform Live-Event Ticketing System 11 months ago:
In less than 30 years, live Nation has amassed over 300 music venues, likely many of you largest local venues. They have cornered the market on ticket sales, dictating how things will be done to even non owned venues. What could possibly be anticompetitive or conflicting??

- Comment on Carmakers Push Forward With Plans To Make Basic Features Subscription Services, Despite Widespread Backlash 11 months ago:
If the product is already on the car it is scummy as fuck to charge a subscription, the end. The higher price of high end vehicles is justified by the cost of adding those features to the vehicle. If they’re already there and off, you’re getting ripped off

Look at them including perfect dark in the list as if they’d have the balls to make another sequel after they botched the last one after essentially using it as a launch exclusive title for the 360… such a shame. Perfect dark 64 was a masterpiece.
