As someone who lives in an opposite bubble, this post was funny to me in a wholesome way. I love how respectful you’re asking this while being fucking confused.
To answer your question: none of my queer/gay friends do this gesture specifically, so it seems it is just a quirky thing he does :)

There is no disability which needs a human punching bag as an accommodation.

Influencer sponsorships, especially for beauty influencers, have already been declining. Companies realize that these influencers are just posting ads now and people don’t believe their “honest opinion” anymore. So it’s a mystery to me why companies still pay so much money for regular online ads.

Maybe Lemmy just needs one as a whole, people are so lazy!

Thank you for all the hard work again!
I think the problem for new users isn’t necessarily blocks and filters but Federation in general. Instance? What’s that? That’s complicated, do I need multiple accounts? Which one do I sign up for? Etcetera.
Maybe we need some very, very easy to understand guide as a landing page. Keep some details out just to keep it simple for the non-nerds.
Just my 2 cents :)

Whenever google isn’t giving me proper results (so almost every time) I add “Lemmy” to the search and it gives me… Reddit links.

Agreed but I do like the lore of pepe technically truly being dead because of his fascist undertone nowadays. Kinda funny.

The creator of pepe declared him dead

Im still not sure if I’m buying this one for switch. I love Stardew and pokemon but I feel like “life sims” are just feeling more and more like a chore because they’re all so alike.
Example: I liked coral island for the ocean cleanup part. After that I kinda quit because it became the same old same old again.

I know how desperate it feels, but this isn’t a safe solution for her. She needs to get our of there ASAP, in secret, and then she can block his number. “sabotaging” him will infuriate him which can have disastrous consequences.
- Comment on Bike Riders of lemmy, you okay with me riding my eScooter in the bike lane? 1 year ago:
I’m the Netherlands where everyone and their mom rides bikes and we have bike lanes everywhere, escooters / ebikes / regular scooters all go on the bike lane. It’s less dangerous to go a bit slower than a fast biking person (like a grandma on a regular bike) and just staying on the right, than the dangers on the sidewalk.
