When we were kids and on holidays, my parents got into a really heated argument about the name of a jam’s brand. My mom “it’s Hero!”, dad " no, it’s Delicia!". They were both so adamant, it put a real damp on the entire vacation. Finally back home they went straight to the pantry to check out the name of the jam that was called Hero Delicia. Yeah… that was dumb.

I read it, kept scrolling, 3 scrolls later it hit me. Frantically scrolled back to say that I read it, kept scrolling, and how good this slow hit was.

I tried so hard, but could never manage to block all their domains. Pinterest is the sole reason I dug very deep into ad blockers’ settings and lost so much time trying to forever shut them up, to no avail.

Sorrel is not clovers. Sorrel are commonly used in cooking here in Europe while clovers, not so much. That being said, both are hardy and easy to cultivate.

Tried to order a croissant at a gas station in Oregon once — I lived there, but my French accent turns croissant into a whole performance.
The Mexican woman behind the counter couldn’t see what I meant (glass case + clutter) or understand, we both laughed a lot, and I ended up with the croissant and a breakfast burrito.
Could’ve been worse.

It’s not the absence of youth that makes women less beautiful. It’s the absence of representation.
Men at 45: “distinguished.” Women at 45: “expired.” It’s not biology—it’s storytelling. We don’t see ugly old men as ugly—we see them as powerful, confidant, sexy. We don’t see aging women at all.
That’s not nature. That’s propaganda
