Dihydrogen monoxide?
Monoxide means one oxygen which means free radixal, which is what car thieves are. So you’re right, clearly all this wanton consumption of this chemical must be stopped.

Why are there so many comments engaging with this as though it’s a post by a human instead of an ad

Have you somehow never interacted with technical support or customer service?
The moron I got at my isp the other day insisted that “internet” and “wifi” were the same thing.
You can in no way assume that because you said laptop, they are directing you to a web app.

- Comment on It's Time to Ditch Evernote for One of These Alternatives 10 months ago:
I’m giving Obsidian a try and I’m liking it, but I still use freebie Notion for a lot of work things.
I do ~6-12 month contracts, and have found that publishing notion pages is a really easy way to share stuff quickly with the team and keep it live-update-able by all parties.
I never really used evernote tho. I think i first tried it years ago before they allowed dark mode, so it automatically failed.

- Comment on Proton Mail founder vows to fight Australia’s eSafety regulator in court rather than spy on users | Australia news | The Guardian 11 months ago:
I just had a company refuse to send to mozmail.com, thought they managed to charge the credit card just fine and the email address didn’t throw an error on sign up. Figured it out on phone with support so they have a record of exactly why they lost that sale worth a few thousand dollars. I’d like to think they’ll learn but more likely the only lesson learned was me re: shopping there.

Ooh so if you are already a Proton Other Things subscriber you get the unlimited alias version for free? Because that’s an excellent reason.
They shiuld make that more clear in the pricing page.
Thanks!
- Comment on Apple’s MacBook Pro memory problem is worse than ever 11 months ago:
It is not. There is no ethical alternative. There is no universally superior operating system. Make your own choices based on your own needs and don’t listen to fanbois.

- Comment on Popular porn sites now display unproven health warnings thanks to Texas law 1 year ago:
While they’re at it they could add “potential to cause spontaneous human combustion” or “potentially damaging to time-space continuum.” Potentially. I’m no porn fan, but my understanding is the evidence on the addictiveness claims is super weak.
The causal arrow between porn and the brain development thing could easily go either way. It’s hard to tell.
