Ah ah, no. It’s not “free” healthcare. Free is for dirty socialists unless it’s followed closely by 'dom.
We should encourage capitalist market growth by subsidizing the Healthcare industry to hook Americans on more frequent health visits to increase their taxable lifespan.
Basically, the whole Healthcare system is currently a la carte. Americans are only paying when they need something. Streaming services have proven the way of the future is with subscription services. Other countries have been doing it for decades. Everyone pays an annual fee and gets access to a vast catalog of medical treatment.
It’s fucking nefarious and if Republicans ever find out about it, the for-profit Socialist industry of paying into a company to pay for other people’s medical needs would be absolutely doomed. We, as the left, need to be very loud and vocal about how much we do not want healthcare to be a tax-driven subscription model or we’ll totally lose our community communist insurance collectives.

Well, you have to have something heavy to hold enough inertia to have a deterring impact.
How else are you supposed to suppress the growing second class citizenry? Communicate?

Counterpoint: look at those hands. Maybe they just weren’t great at some things.
I’d believe they mastered lighting and painting techniques over accurate physical representation more than “Jesus was a perfect middle aged nippleless man with fucked up hands and that’s represented perfectly here”
- Comment on Can deliberate noise harassment still be a crime if it's done every day from 7:30 AM till 10:30-11:30 PM? 3 weeks ago:
People don’t live in shared dwelling residences because they thought they’d really enjoy sharing walls…

Exactly this. A detailed log and evidence is important.
Also, talk to your other neighbours and see if they have, or would report it.
As it is, resident B has 2 noise complaints in 8 months from resident A. Without evidence of all the rest of it, this fits all sorts of scenarios. People make malicious complaints all the time and the authorities (rightfully) shouldn’t just take your word for it that there’s a long history.
Always have receipts

That’s complete bullshit.
How many manslaughter cases have there been where 2 people get in a fist fight and one of them gets brained on the concrete?
To be clear, the claim that it’s legally indefensible may be true, but your life is absolutely in danger in an unarmed fight

Also, a cat comes into your house and you have to feed it for a day: Image
- Comment on Meow 3 months ago:
But to ask “would people actually care for, shelter, and feed an animal they didn’t know? Like just bond with a creature for what? Emotional connection, companionship, and kinship to another living thing? I love animals, tho” is just a weird take. Like, you can love animals (or babies) and not want to be responsible for them in your home, but to be incredulous about why someone would want that is ridiculous.
“Would people really let some stray live with them?”
That’s literally the history of house cats. A million times, yes, people want to hang out with random cats.
You don’t need to want cats or babies to see why other people would want cats or babies.

Oh, no, we’re in lemmyshitpost, so I was just talking shit about the absolutely insane marketing choice to try to sell them as “triangles”.
But here we are talking about it, so fuck me, it’s working.
- Comment on Should I be Concerned? 4 months ago:
That’s a very generous assumption for a company whose “flavoured, uhhh, triangles” can’t pass the legal threshold of the word “chip” or “snack”, let alone “tortilla”.
- Comment on When will we have auto turrets mounted on plane engines to stop birdstrikes? 4 months ago:
Terminal velocity is really only relevant for objects that go below terminal velocity and then start falling. Bullets famously come out of guns very fast, so fast they go into people.
While air will slow the bullet down, tell that to the guy over over 2 miles away from Viacheslav Kovalskyi
Now, bird shot ain’t sniper rounds, but the point stands.
