Bird shot from a long barrel should reach high enough, and the descending pellets would do minimal damage to property and people.

That might be a better fit. The conspiracy stuff was very off putting once I saw it.

My attention span is so torched by the internet I can’t anymore. Which makes me sad because I loved reading as a kid.
I do however still enjoy audiobooks while driving.

- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Most people don’t categorized suicide as violence. But even if you do, I made it extremity clear on my next sentence that I was talking about gun murders.
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Lumping in 2 issues with 2 separate causes and solutions as evidence that (in this case) a mag capacity ban works, is an oversimplification.
Mag cap bans have nothing to do with suicide and weren’t intended to. So bringing it up is just a distraction from the conversion this post is focusing on.
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
You’re over simplifying the issue.
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Dog I think you’re losing track of the conversion. This post is about mag capacities, a measure trying to tackle gun murder. I started my comment talking about gun murders. I’m still taking about gun murders and related laws. You brought up suicide statistics
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Strawman? My friend these are gun laws in California. The state we’re talking about.
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Once again lumping in suicides without clearly stating such, to artificially bolster gun violence. This data includes suicides, which a mag disconnector, chamber indicator, registry, etc won’t help with.
- Comment on Federal judge again strikes down California law banning gun magazines of more than 10 rounds 1 year ago:
Good. California regulations have done nothing to improve gun violence in their state when compared to less restrictive states like Texas. Even ignoring the blatant constitutional issues.
Texas has 3.2 gun murders per 100k. California has 3.4/100k.
Source, from the Murders section
Better social safety nets would be far more effective at reducing all forms of violence.

Does the native Group VoIP mean voice rooms like Discord are possible now? That feature is pretty much all that’s keeping me on discord as of now.

If you bought the bike years ago there’s a strong chance you no longer have the receipt/invoice.
- Comment on Judge blocks California law requiring safety features for handguns 1 year ago:
Yeah thats just completely false. The second amendment does not say arms are a right of the militia.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
“the right of the people”. This was not an accident. The founding father’s rejected different drafts that made arms a right of the militia, instead realizing the government would use that wording to restrict people’s rights with the argument they aren’t part of a malitia.

Never said it was a bad system in general. But as a normal citizen not engaging in business I think paying taxes possibly 4 times (federal income tax, state income tax, sales tax when first bought new, sales tax when sold as used) on the same item is wrong.

I know that’s how it works. I’m complaining because the way it works is bullshit.
- Comment on If you resold Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets, the IRS is watching — A new rule from the IRS is punishing those who resold tickets for more than $600 in profit with a tax penalty 1 year ago:
I think most of those people don’t understand what the $600 rule is and instead thought I was saying scalpers shouldn’t be taxed on their ill gotten profits.
- Comment on If you resold Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets, the IRS is watching — A new rule from the IRS is punishing those who resold tickets for more than $600 in profit with a tax penalty 1 year ago:
Yes? I’m against both of the parties in my comment. Maybe I made it sound like I’m in the scalpers side with my tax complaints, I’m not. I just don’t want this government overreach to be placed in a positive light just because its also affecting people we hate.
- Comment on If you resold Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets, the IRS is watching — A new rule from the IRS is punishing those who resold tickets for more than $600 in profit with a tax penalty 1 year ago:
Fuck scalpers, but I refuse to look at the $600 tax rule as anything other than a way for the government to squeeze money from and spy more on the common people.
- Comment on Judge blocks California law requiring safety features for handguns 1 year ago:
“Well regulated” does not, and has never, meant government regulations. Well regulated means more along the lines of well trained, equipped, and armed.
- Comment on Judge blocks California law requiring safety features for handguns 1 year ago:
A gun is to be treated as loaded under nearly all circumstances. If you don’t understand that, a chamber indicator won’t help you. If you do understand that, a chamber indicator won’t help you. Same with the mag disconnect
What would be far more effective is to teach gun safety in school. Just like how abstinence and ignorance of sex isn’t an affective way to prevent accidental pregnancy, education is. And this isn’t a new concept, that used to be standard in America.
