The depressing fact this is already in their calculations really suggests fines should be vary based on a percentage of the company’s profits, not a set number for all.

Meanwhile, my long disabled cousin just started receiving SSI after 2 years of them dragging their feet. 2 months in, he now has them again, requesting pension forms, paystubs for work, unemployment compensation forms and life insurance policies. All things he already reported he never had due to his disability. It’s like they’ve suddenly believed things changed in that time window. The whole system seems to be broken, which might be intentional.

Need to undo this 1950s era of urban planning and transportation
I was a kid when I saw it, but wasn’t that one of the end messages of the movie, Roger Rabbit?

Pretty clear stuff like this is why we’re speed running to a dystopian future. Hopefully Googles profits can survive. /s

There there. Little comfort, but least you have a clever username.

Might be better news if the world wasn’t on fire one minute, and besieged by hurricanes the next minute.

This came off bizarrely metal af. I also didn’t see it turning into a pitch to make human centipedes from the rich lol.

Guessing it’s suggested to use a small flash drive and keep it hidden somewhere?

This might be a good idea for my family, they definitely prefer a K.I.S.S. approach lol.

Interesting, I’ll check it out, as it looks like it’ll cover what I need. Hopefully it’s simple enough, as always having an iPhone makes things more complicated lol.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll try checking out both options. Unfortunately, I have an iPhone, so sadly there’s no KeepassDX. 🤔

Same, it’s getting up in years and probably needs a paint job and eventually I need to change the window tint.
- Comment on Are smart door locks more or less secure than traditional door locks? 1 year ago:
Based on the context, I think they would suggest going with the old school lock with a deadbolt. The more complex a device is, the more likely it is to have multiple vectors of attack.

No kidding, it’s ridiculous to think they expect us to fork over $25k for cars that will invade our privacy. I have a 23 year old car I’ll drive till it’s dead before that ever happens.

Depressing and sad, but it’s likely and they can tell themselves “nature caused it”, so they can sleep easier with their choice. Until they start taking those statistics into account, they’ll continue paying to ignore it. The governments are complicit, with the lower rungs trying to squeeze into the survivors group.
