- Comment on Apple Wants To Kill PWAs 8 months ago:
Hard to do when half the applications are built that way. Git GUIs, code/text editors, chat programs, even the next outlook is jumping on this stuff.
I get it that it’s faster to code like that and you basically get cross platform compatibility for free since you’re writing a website, but it’s a hog of resources that should have been ignored.

- Comment on Poland, France and Germany vow to make Europe stronger as fears grow over Russia and Trump 9 months ago:
At the very least, having a single army should allow for quicker action and less internal coordination, unless we mess up even this with some weird exceptions/conditions.
On a broader goal? Same reason the EEA was started, to reach a consolidated mass that’s capable of competing at the level of the main superpowers (US and USSR then, US and China now). Having some independence from US’ power projection, not having to rely on their war machine would let the EU pursue it’s best interests, not the ones of a foreign, albeit allied, country.

Is this it? Are we finally witnessing the birth of the European Army?

- Comment on Sahra Wagenknecht: German politician launches 'left-wing conservative' party 10 months ago:
Super based, if she sticks to what she says it would be the kind of party I dream of. Too bad I live in Italy, so her succeeding would likely mean more rapefugees in my own country since Germany would be less inclined to adhere to a redistribution program. Perhaps she’d be more favourable to blocking their ships, though. :/
- Comment on Not even poor Notepad is safe from Microsoft's AI obsession 10 months ago:
It is. The sentence “I’m pro Ukraine/Russia” is most definitely a political statement
- Comment on Not even poor Notepad is safe from Microsoft's AI obsession 10 months ago:
They’re still going to ruin a supposedly no frills text editor with this.
What they could’ve dove to showcase it instead is revamping Wordpad, instead of removing it, and integrate the AI stuff there, since it’s supposed to be one of Microsoft’s example apps
- Comment on Keep Church and State Separate 10 months ago:
Since “no taxation w/out representation” is a common chant, I propose proportional taxes based on how many representatives of the party you voted for get into power
