It seems to me that people can more easily imagine an apocalypse compared to imagining a world without capitalism.
If you were a 1%er, and the working class switched to a sustainable equitable way to live their lives… would that not be an apocalypse to you? Losing control over your wage slaves. Losing control over the state. Losing control over the overton window. But it’s good for the rest of us.
Capitalism isn’t even that old, it can’t coast on thousands of years of precedent that feudalism could (and still does in some parts of the world still)
What is… isn’t forever. Even if its gonna last longer then us.

What happened to the easy to read oneliner $r^2=(x−a)^2+(y−b)^2$?
