The British museum did a Stonehenge exhibit a few years ago, wasn’t expecting much but it was actually pretty fascinating. There’s tons of henges and a lot of the stone ones have rock from nowhere near where they were erected.

I agree that they probably were moved from somewhere.
Otherwise they would have just been there already which would be super weird.
