Explanation: The CIA, the foreign intelligence agency of the USA, made numerous attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro, the Soviet-aligned dictator of Cuba, from the 1960s onwards. Some of these attempts were quite… bizarre.
Every attempt failed. Castro would die of natural causes in 2016.
