Ok so in the last two weeks I have read 275 pages of #Braille, totalling 19 chapters. I finished reading The Claw of the Conciliator(The Book of the New Sun 2) by Gene Wolf, and started The Sword of the Lictor (The Book of the New Sun 3). I am sure some of you have seen my rather sparse posts logging my progress through this series, but this is more just patting myself on the back for keeping up reading consistently for almost 3 months now.

@BlindAllDay @main @mastoblind @bookstodon I'm currently, I believe, somewhere around 50wpm, roughly 4 minutes a page and these books have been very consistently around 200 word per page.

@BlindAllDay @dhamlinmusic @main @mastoblind @bookstodon Me, not visually impaired, wondering about the following. Which depends on the question if you for example use your index finger for reading? If so, does it become too sensitive after a while of reading?
When I read I often use my index finger to follow along my reading. After a while it becomes so sensitive it is an irritating sensation.
