And wait for the future! The healthcare system is collapsing and retirement plans are already completely f*cked up. Italy is a sinking ship.
It’s not just Italy. It’s literally every country. Society is circling the drain and it’s all design.
Our billionaires and politics all want what is coming. They aren’t on your side and don’t represent you.
I feel like everyone knows we’re all together on a sinking ship and the people of the upper levels are using the corpses of the already-drowned to stay afloat themselves. And the more drown, the easier they can stay afloat.
But… It doesn’t change the fact the entire ship is still sinking and even they will eventually drown. Just a little later than anyone else.
I’ve started thinking everything I have been taught is a lie, our society isn’t sustainable and we’re going back to caves. This doesn’t prevent me from continuing my work, but I just don’t take it for granted and I don’t expect to be able to earn anything durable from it. I’ll function until I can, when climate change kills me or I grow too old, I’ll die and that’s it.
Just the latest move of a populace desperate for change. Last time it was populists (lega and 5 star), the time before it was the “left”. The party currently governing now has the chance to display its incompetence, like the ones before, and it’ll be reduced to a secondary role come the next election.
Fascism works out great, as per usual.
I can’t tell if this is sarcastic but Italy is democratic and they hold regular elections. They’re definitely not fascist. If it’s a joke about the currently elected ruling party, they’ve only been in power for one year. This problem has taken decades to metastasise.
Them migrants increasing inflation rates!

High taxes, low wages, decades of bad governance, en education sector that keeps getting worse, laws designed with built in loopholes to help crooked friends and family, what did they expect? They stole everything there was to steal.

Sadly, that could also describe dozens & dozens of countries.

It’s almost as if the problem is global. How quaint. Must be coincidence.

Yeah, but severity and starting point make a difference
