  This screams of desperation to me. Twitter never needed to make any kind of deals with celebrities before to get them on the platform. This feels like Kick throwing money at people to get them to come over from Twitch. They’re trying to lure over Instagram type folks, probably to keep them off Threads.

  Okay, at this point we have to assume they're purposely trying to cultivate the dumbest userbase possible. Which makes sense if they're looking for people who are going to trust Xitter with their money.
