  It has positive reviews on release because they wouldn’t give console copies to reviewers, and professional reviewers tended to have the beefy gaming rigs that could play it well.

    All true - and yet somehow, it still released to positive reviews. The consumer outcry came after release, the reviewers having gotten a tightly curated experience.
