P.S. the dude at the bottom is Mike McMahan, the creator of Lower Decks
I watched most of Lower Decks before starting TNG so I’m catching the easter eggs the other way around

Dude’s going through all the historical records looking for any little detail he can find.
Oh Cetation Ops? I can use this!
As soon as I learned she was played by the actress who played the three boobed stripper in Total Recall, there was no forgetting Ensign Sonya Gomez
I would love Wesley to show up in Lower Decks. Seems like the perfect fit for him.
If that does happen you know someone’s gonna tell him “Shut up Wesley”
Who is the woman in the top left?
Sonya Gomez, a character who was in an episode or two of TNG as an ensign then later reappeared as a captain in Lower Decks
Well she spilled her drink on the captain and later whilst working on an airlock there was a freak malfunction causing her to get spaced. These two events may or may not have been connected, but that’s why we never saw her again.

The expanded role and lore of the Pakleds was so out of left field. Of course, some dishonorable petaQ of a Klingon would be the one pulling the strings. Great use of a one-off joke species spread into a full season big bad.

I'm just so happy that the Exocomps came back. Even in the form of Peanut Hamper (actually, especially in the form of Peanut Hamper - she shows that the Exocomps are actually people, not just stereotypes).

I’m just glad to see an Exocomp rendered in animation, considering the origin of their design.
