since they started out as a pirate website, I’d recommend torrenting

But the stuff you enjoy physically. It will infinitely financially support then more than streaming.
To find the stuff you wish to pay for you pirate.

Sadly, most of this is Crunchyroll nowadays too…

Aww man beat me to it.
They def still exist. I used to be a data hoarder. But with all the streaming sites and torrents… Why bother?
Piracy wiki/MT on Reddit has a huge list.

YouTube algo has been delivering some golden classic anime lately.
There’s just 6 different channels(i think). Explore their videos. Lots more content.

Sadly not. The ones that used to exist, merged with Crunchyroll (RIP Wakanim). HIDIVE exists if you’re in NA, but their library is not as big. But alternatives don’t matter if most anime are exclusives anyway.

When i gave hidive a spin it was unable to maintain a recently watched list and I had to go off of my own memory

Let this be a lesson to always pirate, even before the streaming services enshittify. You’re only hurting yourself if you don’t.
Support the original studios by purchasing merch, not the media conglomerates.
