I have several.

2020 Yes we know, the pandemic. But, this was a point in time where corporations saw minimum wage workers as very expendable, so much that they demanded the workers to work in unhealthy situations while calling them “essential”. All of that washed away when the pandemic became more manageable.
2016 and 2024. You know those years
Edward Snowden’s revealing of widespread government spying on its citizens
The failed impeachments of Donald Trump
Democrats helping to fund ICE after the fact
The Minnesotan crackdown brought by ICE

I think when they just said ‘Yes, LLMs can steal your work’. That showed they don’t even care about property rights, which is the one thing the right have always pretended was their raison d’être.

You don’t have the false-dichotomy of ( Support_the_Government || Helpless_Apathy ),

you HAVE also the ability to compete-against the people who are ruining things!!

Yes, political-process prefers/selects-for DarkTriad types, but it’s still possible to compete against the bullshit.
