Not trying to flood printables and co with more AI but honestly curious.
I am a person that has no sense for aesthetics whatsoever. In a creative process even less so. This would help me out im some situations. All functional parts j do in freecad.
A thread about myminifactory I asked about some ai site examples to evaluate the model quality. For example, do they know how to avoid overhangs if possible etc.
It got downvoted.
For real: what are some tested ai generators for stl?

You’re getting downvoted because AI is causing so much damage and ruining so many things. People still using AI are just adding to the problem and continuing to legitimize the bullshit.
If you truly want to learn aesthetics, read some books, take some classes, get some practice. Learn a new skill!

I disagree. Obviously …
I think ai can be a useful tool for some very specific and well outlined tasks. We need to solve a lot of problems like energy and resource usage to make it sustainable at a small scale and don’t feed the bubble and by extension the repercussions it will have on the world economy. And even if this doesn’t pan out to be a viable tool for modeling I live by the principal that I need to know what I am talking about before I dismiss it.
And yes, the most common argument against that stance is “so to have an opinion about fascism you need to be an fascist?”. No, but I need to read and learn about it nevertheless. This is my learning.

Just a few tiny little details to work out, to do “some very specific and well outlined tasks”. And while those things are being worked on, which may or may not be solvable, real and actual damage is being done now. But hey, who cares right?
