I was just thinking that all the crazy stories about this guy would make for a really amazing movie, and I wondered when would be the right time. I figured that it would have to cool off so it isn’t too traumatic to survivors, and the story has to have time to cool from current events into a recent historical fascination. And there would need to be time for authors to write a bunch of books using the files as source materials and then do more research and interviews.
And then I realized that the biggest limiter on when it could be made would probably be that a lot of producers and financiers in Hollywood would have to have retired or died since the story is so damaging to so many people connected to celebrities and media moguls.
Also, fwiw, this was an actual shower thought.

If Hollywood ever made an Epstein film, I wouldn’t put it past them to portray him the exact same way that The Greatest Showman portrayed PT Barnum.
Or something like this.

I do not think PT Barnum will ever have as bad of a reputation as Mr. Epstein will forever have. Also do not forget Mrs. Maxwell! I watched the Maxwell documentary, it was awesome. I think if any movies (of both, both together or just Mr. Epstein) are going to happen they should be documentaries or very similar to ‘The Apprentice’ was about ‘The Crazy Don’ getting to become ‘The Crazy Don’.

Just don’t ask what Epstein means when he says there’s a sucker born every minute.
