It is when so many people stupid together that it systematically starts kill them. Is it a 3rd party punishment? Nope, it’s FAFO on a national scale. Unfortunately it’s going to be epic in just how much suffering it causes.

At some point it is. It’s self-punishing, though. Problem being is the context of that stupidity affecting society as a whole and dragging the rest of us down with them. As a society we should have the ability to erect guardrails to help even the willfully stupid, but the stupid do their best to eliminate any such aid because.
