Can Hitman 4 be somehow a bit easier to purchase?
Because Hitman 3 is impossible to understand. I just want to make a decision with my money and play a game. I dont want eleventy billion overlapping options and add ons.

The funniest part is it became even more difficult to comprehend when they folded it all into one game, it was easier to just buy the fucking games when they were 1 - 2 - 3.
I bought 1 back when they were separate. Now I have to pay for it again if I want 2 or 3. Fuck that shit.
Wonder if H4 will really continue off WOA’s ending; or if it’ll be some weird reboot.
For those who don’t know, the ICA, signature org 47 follows, was dismantled in WOA’s story since it was basically a servant of Providence. Providence itself was too large to destroy, so Diana still runs it, basically just dismantling as much as she can.
I might even be interested in some form of main character switching for Hitman if they can invent someone that has most of 47’s capability with some interesting nuance. (No, the spoiler is not that 47 dies)
I’ve never participated in the elusive targets but this one for Eminem and slim shady I’m going to have to

Not even the online requirement for accessing most of the game’s features? It’s so needless. To my knowledge, the game doesn’t even have an in-game microtransaction shop to give them an incentive to have you online. At least there’s a community server project, so I feel good about our chances of preserving the game in the future, but it doesn’t make me okay with giving them my money in the present. And it’s a damn shame, because the sandbox they made for Hitman is fantastic.

I couldn’t give two fucks about the sanctity of some bloody leaderboards, just let me play the blasted game offline without making it out to be some kind of gods damned crime worthy of multiple popups warning me how you “Make a distinction between online and offline play” How about you fucking don’t No one NO ONE is going to pour through the annals of history in 509 years time to find out who topped the leaderboard in the Sapienza level of Hitman. ITS A SINGLE PLAYER FUCKING GAME Stop taking leaderboards so bloody seriously.
Anyways, great game, ten out of ten, probably a top ten all time. Probably would be a top five if it wasn’t for having to sit through loading screens just to play it offline.

You’ve completely nailed my feelings on it. Online semi-requirement is super annoying, but it’s also one of my absolute favourite games ever made. It’s my second-most played game ever, too.

I don’t think the lead level designer is making those decisions.

He’s not, but the context of the interview was him speaking for the team.
