It’s a classic play by security agencies and opposition groups … tactics originally developed by the US after WWII. There’s even a manual you can find online that shows all this.
Insert and include members, spies, bad actors into an organization. The goal of these characters is to just delay and disrupt … bog down the machine to slow everything down or even shut it down.
Cause endless bureaucracy, complications and difficulties for everything … get people to meet on everything no matter how small, debate everything on every detail, reassess constantly and just make everything as complicated as possible.
It wears actual supporters down over time, to the point of pushing people away and even inviting in more bad actors to make things even worse.

For someone who creates so much drama all over the world simply by her presence, she has a surprising lack of tolerance for exactly that type of drama.
That said, it’s good to know when to step away because the organization you’re backing is too tied up with our own internal bullshit. I wish American Democrats understood this concept.

Honestly I couldn’t even really make sense of what you were trying to say, I don’t think I hallucinated anything aside from my own confusion. I do think there is a powerful analogy at work here though. “Gothenberg” as you are calling her (I think? him? what? anyway), when she saw that the organization that was “officially in charge” of forward progress wasn’t really upholding the values, just left them to whatever their bullshit was, and continued fighting directly for change (as part of that organization), because that’s what’s important. Some other people in contrast when they see that the DNC is a bunch of horse manure dressed up in expensive suits, start SCREAMING about how Democrats are the worst and forward progress has to start with attacking them at every turn.
First strategy makes sense to me. Second one not so much. Like I say, be like Greta.

We’ve reached such a level of teenage idiocy on this fucking website that you can say “kudos to Greta for putting impact over drama” and they’ll interpret it as the exact opposite.
