    The idea of “AI solving” some social crisis is a farce. The problem isn’t that we don’t know what policies will improve the situation. An AI program or a simulation doesn’t have the political power necessary to solve any of these problems.

    The only use for AI I can see is to write a self propagating worm that will respond to every politician’s attempt to use AI with slapping the everloving shit out of them

    Have they tried increasing demand while keeping supply the same? I’ve heard it is the solution to the housing crisis.
