The Apache Software Foundation announced last year that they would be changing its corporate logo and overhaul its branding after being criticized by American Indian activists. Today they announced the brand new Apache Software Foundation branding.
What if they partnered with the Apache nation or something? That could be cool. Establish a scholarship for Apache nation members going into computer science? Something like that.
I don’t know why I keep being surprised when I go to a phoronix article and all the comments on the site are racist, I really should be used to it by now

What was wrong with the feather? I know some native american groups where against it, but i never read any good article that explained WHY they where?
