It doesn’t seem wise to steal from an armed man already on the wrong side of the law…
- Comment on The Wheel That Went to Court (or, did you know Pixar sued DMA Design - who ended up becoming Rockstar North - because they made a game about a unicycle? 1 day ago:
I had a friend who owned this game. We used to play it all the time. Good memories.

Thank you for the reply. I’m sorry to hear it! You wouldn’t THINK it’d be that hard …

Thanks, I’ve never tried to create a room.

What crime do you imagine they would be committing?
I don’t know what they hope to gain by seeing the kid’s face, unless they think they can match it up with an Epstein family member or something (seems unlikely to be their goal).

You mean actually hosting a matrix server, like a rocket instance it’s something? Or do you mean having a room (channel? Topic?) on a public matrix server?
I’ve never done either. Is it even possible to have a private room on a public server?

I’ve been enjoying whentaken.com/game which is in a similar vein.

Mats and spars? Bar.
Rigging? Chain.
Crew during close action? Grape.
Clearing the decks with the quarterdeck swivel gun before boarding? Canister.
Hulling below the water line, long distance attempts, and knocking away their guns? Round.

Interesting, thank you. sounds like a pretty well developed set of tools.

I don’t do any of this stuff, but it’s really interesting to me.
Do you mean that sonarr is always looking for a better version of content you already have, and that over time your library gets upgraded? that’s pretty cool. Can you specify versions in your “shopping list”, like the special edition or director’s cut or even a VHScopy?
- Comment on How/why does Microsoft teams exist? 2 weeks ago:
It is a reasonable addition to the Office365 / Sharepoint / Active Directory ecosystem for corporate customers. The fact that it’s trash software doesn’t mean it wasn’t a sound business decision for MS at some point!

There’s nothing stopping you from smelling the exhibits at the Natural History Museum. Go take a whiff of a mummy!

- Comment on Should speakers hum when they're connected to a stereo, but the volume of is turned all the way down? 4 weeks ago:
If I bonk my PC speakers, the hum goes away for a while. Wiggling the wires can make it come and go. Probably a short in a wire or connecter, right? They’re 20yo.
- Comment on US urges its citizens to flee Venezuela amid reports of paramilitaries 4 weeks ago:
I’m sure many are. I spoke to an immigrant from Venezuela today. There are also many Venezuelanos that support the current government, and presumably a decent chunk that didn’t support the government but also don’t appreciate American intervention.

I really appreciate your detailed suggestion and description of what you’ve done. Especially, I like that you attribute the app developer. You’re a good egg.

I find those prompts bizarre. If you could just tell it not to make things up, surely that could be added to the built in instructions?
