I finally finished and published my first sci-fi novel, Future Sepsis: Book 1, and it’s out now!

This isn’t a Kickstarter or some “maybe you’ll get it one day” thing. It’s a finished book you can actually pick up today on Amazon.

The story starts in 2024 when four people die in a plane crash. A hundred years later, they wake up in a society that’s rebuilt itself into something very different from ours. Neural implants and AI are everywhere, and the way people interact with each other and the world has completely changed. Institutions and culture have shifted in ways that feel alien but also very human.

I wrote it as hard science fiction, which for me means the tech works the way real tech would, and the characters act like actual people—with all the messy consequences that come with that.

It’s available DRM-free as an ebook and paperback. For folks who aren't into Amazon, it's posted to a bunch of other stores too, but they may not have shown up yet.

Like my previous book, The Graysonian Ethic, I’ve added a note to the legal page: in 15 years, the book will enter the public domain where possible, and be released under CC0 everywhere else.
