The French minister who was present during the Légion d’honneur ceremony at which, Total’s CEO Patrick Pouyanné received a medal. The Pouyanné that explicitly said that thanks to the plastic industry, the oil industry should still thrive for a long time. Also, the same French minister that’s also heir of the second biggest oil company in the country.
It’s almost comically evil and corrupt at this point if the situation wasn’t so dire already.
