Dogs should have tags with the name of their owners too

  Most tags have owner info and many are also chipped on top of that.

  Mine have my dogs names on the front and my contact info on the back. I think it’s pretty common.

  Or are you talking just the human name on the back? That would be confusing.

  But fr, here all cats and dogs have chips with all of the owners data, readable by doctors, animal shelters etc. Also useful for only allowing them to go through cat/dog flaps.

    Here in Sweden too but my biological chip reading abilities are somewhat lacking.

      I’m actually curious how the chips are implemented, and if they’re readable by users. Lemme just get a cat from the street

  Dog (and other big dangerous animals) owners in cities should be wearing tags with their basic ID data too. Maybe even those blinking lamps like firefighters or police. Don’t know how they’re called in English.
