Sorry! I didn’t see this post. I think if it’s of East Asian or Southeast Asian origin, then I guess it’s fine. There was a thread about that some time ago. I think it’s still pinned in this community.

Lord of the Mysteries is by a chinese author. But I think Shadow Slave is by a Russian author?

I don’t see a problem with it. We have discussions about Korean manhwa and Chinese donghua (To Be Hero X is airing this season for example) pretty regularly. This falls under the same umbrella.
