  Hiya x63O! The answer is yes, and yes. The problem is that folks do NOT want to use <Image Description> and <User Comment>, or does threadiverse natively exposes these extensions so folks can annotate images respectively.

  Also, I personally need funding to make a mangadouga format that natively allows folks the ability to edit & add their own texts, instead of remanipulating an image with an IMP.

  I’ve been doing it for awhile now. I just wish I could get funding to 1) have my own piefeed instance to 2) implement XMP.

That fact that you denied, while not detailing that OStatus is a Websub (XEP 60) implementation, shows me that you were incapable of connecting Jabber webclients, like GNUSocial, Friendica, Movim, Kaidan, Libervia, and most famously Converse.js, have already implemented fora, weblogs, and more, without the need to JSONify the web.
