higher prices lead to lower sales volume. yea, that’s normally how it works. but amazon’s cut is based on price. if prices go up, so does what they

People buy things they don’t need in a healthy economy, even when they’re not doing great. In an unhealthy one they do things like boil socks for supper. (Yes the book is taking about a real thing)

I use Amazon like a search engine - find a few options for a product I’m looking for, go to the websites for options that look good, narrow it down to the one I want to actually buy, then order it directly from the manufacturer.
Fuck actually buying anything from Amazon.
