What even is Doom anymore? It used to be a marine shooting demons on mars with a shotgun. Now it’s some mythological fantastical fever dream bullshit where you ride dragons and execute perfectly timed combos against alien God things. It might be fun but it’s certainly NOT Doom anymore.
Is this serious? Every Doom game has involved going to hell and fighting Demons from hell and such. You know, a mythological place and mythological creatures.
They changed the type of place and creatures slightly. This isn’t really a stretch for the series.
Is this serious? Doom was sci-fi. Now it’s fantasy. What don’t you understand?

Hmm, I’ll wait for the Youtubers, this bunch gave Starfield top marks.
FWIW Eurogamer gave it a 3/5, IGN gave it a 7, and PCGamer gave it a 7.5
Those scores are still too high for Starfield
The previews are mostly positive but some opinions are mixed. It sounds like Eternal where some people love it while others aren’t thrilled about the new changes.
