- Comment on Why do the majority of women still take their partner's last name? 2 weeks ago:
It helps with legal documents and proof of ownership of equity if both last names are the same. Taking the man’s last name is just an archaic tradition but I do agree that having both last names the same is useful.
I will say though that people who hyphenate both their last name’s are fucking psychopaths. Just choose one. Don’t make other people have to remember 2 last names.

Lol wut?
- Comment on Do gangs "jump in" new recruits? Or is that just for movies and tv shows? If so why do they do that kinda seems anti productive. 2 weeks ago:
Remember that most gangs are made up of stupid as shit 12-18 year olds. Like really, gang members are young. These are preteens and teens with guns and weapons. They’re fucking stupid.
- Comment on Has Fast Food Gotten Worse, or Am I Just Getting Old? 2 weeks ago:
It’s gotten worse and the portion sizes are like fucking 1/3rd of what they used to be. It’s also like 3 times the price now. So yes, gast food is absolute dogshit now.
- Comment on Patient gamers, what are your favorite OSTs? 3 weeks ago:
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
- Comment on Steam games will now need to fully disclose kernel-level anti-cheat on store pages 4 weeks ago:
Not all anti cheats run at startup. Some only run when you play a game. I think vanguard for valorant ran all the time at first and people were pissed. Meanwhile easy anti cheat runs only with a game. So it depends. It all sucks though.
- Comment on Want to buy jewlery as a gift for the girlfriend, I know nothing about jewlery, where to start? 5 weeks ago:
Just ask her to go with you to buy the present. Everything doesn’t need to be a surprise. People have this misconception that every god damn fucking thing (birthday parties, presents, etc) needs to be a surprise.
- Comment on Pee posting? 5 weeks ago:

- Comment on Pee posting? 5 weeks ago:
The fuck is with these influx of censored memes? Is it to avoid some tik tok filter or some shit? Amjust assuming since so many of this crap is recycled tim tok memes.
- Comment on Minecraft is losing VR support next year 5 weeks ago:
Probably because VR gaming is basically dead. It never really took off and it’s a waste of time and money for them to drvote resources to it. Probably like 0.1% of users are in VR.
That being said, part of why it’s dead is because no developers want to take chances on it, so it’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

- Comment on Corporate greed is killing RuneScape. What do people play instead? 1 month ago:

My comment is unhelpful but I’m posting it anyway.

No, thank YOU for the laugh :-)
- Comment on Shower thought, traversal in open world games have turned from game mechanics to loading screens 1 month ago:
That is why I used the word “community” in my reply ;-). Try reading more carefully next time. Maybe read slower or try to pay more attention.
- Comment on Shower thought, traversal in open world games have turned from game mechanics to loading screens 1 month ago:
People gave Starfield shit for all of the loading screens during travel. Now OP is complaining about them finding ways to make it more immersive. The gaming community is ridiculous.
- Comment on Is there a name for the trope where a story is high fantasy at first glance, except for it's not fantasy and is actually set in a post-apocalypse dystopian future? 1 month ago:
Hmm not sure. I guess I’d call it post-apocoliptic fantasy lol. But I know exaxctly what you mean and I love that genre. The Horizon games and even the Witcher books/games fit into this genre technically.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 1 month ago:
Might as well throw in a full body haptic feedback suit with a built in fleshlight. In all seriousness idk wtf I’m even arguing about anymore in this thread. Keyboard is totally fine.
- Comment on Do animals feel love and emotion? 1 month ago:
My dog definitely loves me. I feel the love every day from her. I can feel it in my bones. That animal loves and trusts me.
Others have cited sources but yes, dogs and cats definitely feel love.

Work sucks but Excel is actually super fucking awesome. I love Excel. Once you get good at it, it helps with your personal life. Spreadsheets are great for tracking personal finance and all sorts of things.
- Comment on How do our brains process reality? I heard our eyes were just low-res cameras and our brains were doing all the heavy lifting in 'rendering' reality. 2 months ago:
The 24fps thing aounds wrong. That’s not even a cinematic 30.
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 2 months ago:
I think that the perfect storm of high demand and low supply ha. I’m sure Sony didn’t want that outcome.
- Comment on Should i be giving a shit about my posture? 2 months ago:
Yes. Good posture promotes a healthy spine. If you’re putting pressure on your spine discs in weird ways 24/7 for years, you are more likely to have herniated discs and other muscularskeletal issues when you are older.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
What do you imagine being better though? Like just in general? Some sort of gamepad that has directionals that you use in your left hand while you use the mouse with your right? Something totally different? Like what else is there?
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
Okay. Well pitch something better then. I’m genuinely interested. I’m not trying to be aggressive.
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 2 months ago:
This makes no sense. Why would a company want their product to be sold out? The goal is to balance supply and demand. So they SHOULDN’T sell out. It’s not a limited edition product or anything. This post is sensationalized as fuck.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
I also disagree with the keyboard comment. I see no issue with it and I don’t know what else would be better when combined with the mouse.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
It is optimal though. Aiming with a mouse is 9 million % more effective than thumbsticks.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
You misread my comment. I’m saying Dark Souls is an example of a gamepad game.
- Comment on Steven Spielberg is ‘a big PC Gamer’ — loves shooters, and insists on keyboard and mouse 2 months ago:
Huh? Keyboard is completely fine. I wouldn’t have it any other way?
