Because that’s what it boils down to. Paint a minority that holds little to no power as the source of problems for a group so that group attacks the minority instead of the wealthy and powerful that are their actual cause of suffering.
A Medal of Honor Recipient bucks the narrative that ‘blacks are stupid, self serving above all else, lazy, and near animalistically impulsive.’ Can’t have that.
