  My stepmum got a laptop years ago that came with a 12 month subscription to McAfee for the laptop and an Android device. She didn’t have a smartphone at that time but I did so when setting it up on the laptop for her I also put it on my phone. After a while my stepmum started getting loads of emails from McAfee and asked me to have a look. Turned out if a phone was away from the address registered with McAfee for too long the app would start sending pictures from the phone to the email address registered every time the device was unlocked. She received hundreds of emails of my face after unlocking my phone. Thank God it had a front facing camera or she could have received some horrifying images.
