Explanation: The Roman politician and military commander Pompey Magnus entered Jerusalem after being asked by both sides to resolve an ongoing civil war in Iudea. Once inside, he was very much in a position to dictate terms, and did so as one might expect, reducing Iudea into a client state of the Roman Republic.
Notably, he entered the Holy of Holies, an area of the Second Temple that was off-limits to all but the highest of the priesthood, because who was going to stop him? He found it uninteresting and left without further interruption of Jewish religious rituals.
Did he hit the wall behind the holy of holies with his sword? That’s how Michael Zaki hides things so it makes sense that yahweh might hide stuff like that too.
