If you use “they” to describe a nameless group of people and you mean anyone other than The Man (That’s how they get you.), you’re probably the one who’s wrong.
Looking forward to reading some fun exceptions.
“You know what they say,” is referring to the general populous
For the likes of Farrage and Musk it means themselves but they don’t want to be the bad guy
Lots of people are saying it.
