This looks interesting - would you use a virtual video store to browse your self hosted media?
Sounds cool, but I don’t think I can trust someone I’ve never met with all the media I have.

SatyrSack@quokk.au 10 hours ago If it was free, I could imagine downloading it once to try it out. But I doubt I would ever run it again after trying it once. It doesn’t seem like a more interesting or efficient means of selecting content to watch or anything like that. I would also be wary about giving a closed-source program access to my media library.
But if it costed any fee, even just a one-time purchase of 1€, I wouldn’t be interested at all.
That would be pretty cool with VR.
Yet another shop keep simulator clone?
No, it’s for browsing your self-hosted video library.
It’d be awesome to have a link to something like Jellyfin or Plex in one of these.
This one seems to have VR which is what I’m after most from my self hosted stream.
It does connect to Plex and Jellyfin. Someone else also posted a similar open source project in the comments.
Oh nice, thanks for confirming. I didn’t read the full description but see it now.

If you are looking for s similar item but dont want to pay there is this halcyon-video.github.io/halcyon-video/
I have a instance of it running with jellyfin and it fun. I find i like it when I dont know what to watch and want to browse for a bit. By no means is it quicker but its fun.
