It was the packaging for my new bike saddle and went perfectly with the toilet. Somehow. I never spend more than three minutes in there. Naturally.
I’ve never seen the tank being mounted this weirdly. Must be the landlord special in some old-ass building, probably in a teeny tiny bathroom?

That’s a sideways L bracket. Definitely intereating, since it’s supposed to be mounted on the back. They didn’t bother to remove it to paint the wall, so i wonder where the problem began

They painted over everything. Its a disgrace. Even a “professional” painter supposedly that did the apartment before I moved in. I doubt that.

Separate toilet and there is no back. The toilet sits in the middle of the room. Probably a plumbing access thingy.
And yes. At least 500 years old.
