What movie is on the right?
Both are from the new “The Ghost in the shell” anime which is airing right now. It’s a new series which is much more faithful to the manga.
The left from the 90’s movie. Major is drawn way different (more closely resembles the original manga art style now) in the new show.
You are entirely correct and I should have known better since I posted that comment and then immediately went and watched the second episode. I’ll blame being overly tired 😂.
