  Depends what you want. Do you want your income to be stable and predictable and not too low? Then that’s your best bet. More interesting usually comes with less stability or possibly less income to start.

    Is a predictable income something people want or something they need?

    You keep framing it as if people can just do photosynthesis and keep a house while they have no income

    I certainly enjoy not being homeless and would like to continue not being homeless. If I can actually buy some things that aren’t the absolute cheapest worst possible option as well that would also be good.
