Again this shit? There's a reason Hamas has been rejecting the US's "ceasefires", and that's because there's no mechanism to prevent Israel from attacking Rafah after it ends. Israel has been clear they'll attack Rafah either way. So throwing away all their leverage (also known as hope for a slightly less miserable future) for a pause in the genocide would just be stupid. Hamas has already stated the ceasefire they want and Israel has rejected it time and time again.

From what we heard about the Iranian government informing the families that the hostages are dead, it looks like Hamas rejected the ceasefire because they aren’t ready yet to admit they murdered the remaining hostages.
Hamas is free to give a proof of life if they have that capability.

Israel did not offer a ceasefire. It makes no sense for them to do so as their goal is not to defend themselves, but to exterminate the Palestinian people.
