Hmmm right.

Is there a list of universities that are supporting students and acting on their wishes?
Would be good to get people to start enrolling at them and dropping out of these shit ones. They don’t care about the protests much, but they will care about the loss of money.

Damn a six bladed quad copter.
But on a more serious note, fuck Israel and its war of genocide.

- Comment on Generative AI could soon decimate the call center industry, says CEO 1 week ago:
My goal is to show that anyone can post a link, unless you’re going to post some in-depth study that shows categorically that the new norm is companies no longer outsourcing their call centres in favour of domestic ones I will continue to think the default action these days as has been for the past 2 decades now is outsourcing to cheap labour.
- Comment on Generative AI could soon decimate the call center industry, says CEO 1 week ago:
Wow you found a few companies bringing a few roles back, that clearly highlights the current state of the entire industry!
Hey look I can do that too!

- Comment on Generative AI could soon decimate the call center industry, says CEO 1 week ago:
You’re right, they’re totally un-outsourcing call centres and India is no longer a hotspot of outsourced call centres.
Gee golly I really need to use them to know that nothing has changed! Not at all like I can hear it everywhere from everyone else.

- Comment on Generative AI could soon decimate the call center industry, says CEO 1 week ago:
Uhh they’ve all been outsourced to India for ages now, and they’re effectively useless. You’ll get someone who’s worse than an AI at understanding what you’re asking and cannot deviate from a scrip because they have no training.
I haven’t used one in over a decade, if I have an issue it’s going as an email or a comment on social media.

- Comment on DJI might get banned next in the US 1 week ago:
Ita because they could fall on people and cause harm.
You can in theory fly a drone over people if it meets a few criteria such as enclosed blades, under 250 grams, displaying your registered FAA number on the drone chassis, etc etc.
- Comment on Indian students' deaths in the US – the community wants answers 1 week ago:
Ghosh is among the 11 Indian or Indian-origin students who have died in the US so far this year, sparking fears about personal safety within the community.
Can’t find figures for this year, but last year the homicide total was 18,456
So this is %0.005 of all murders in the US from a group that is 0.078% of the total population*
This is alarmist fear mongering.
* I added the 1 million international students into the population to better represent the total
- Comment on DJI might get banned next in the US 1 week ago:
For starters you cannot fly a drone over a person except the operator (yourself). The weight of the drone or inclusion of prop guards does not change this.
So goodbye to flying around any busy area or city.
- Comment on DJI might get banned next in the US 1 week ago:
I’ve wanted to pick one up for ages, but when I look into it there’s so many restrictions on where you can fly that I can’t see myself being able to get much use of out.
- Comment on Possible snipers seen at OSU. Administration says they're not snipers but should be treated like they are. 1 week ago:
These reactions by the US government to a student protest are nothing new and the fact they haven’t sent in the army and killed anyone yet shows it’s not even as bad as it historically has.
Not everything a shithole like America does dictates what the rest of the world does.
