Comment on Microsoft won't update your Windows 11 PC if it has these apps
Whirling_Cloudburst@lemmy.world 2 months agoThere were so many times that updating Win7 was a nightmare. I used to do plenty of fresh installs on various PCs and I would have to wait a day or sometimes more to get the OS up to date. I would have thought we moved past this by now.

Definitely not. Sometimes you even have to install additional bloatware like “HP update assistant” because the built-in update system is dysfunctional af.
