That’s also happened to me many times lol! But honestly this is my only real gripe with Android Auto. I hope Gemini doesn’t make it worse
- Comment on Nintendo Updates Its User Agreement To Crack Down On Emulation 3 days ago:
As of right now, it seems like the only way they can detect a hacked Switch is if it’s user goes online for a game in the emuNAND. I don’t think there is a way for them to detect emulating on PC, unless you’re like that streamer who publicly flouted Nintendo’s cease and desists

I have both a v1 Switch I’ve home brewed and a Steam Deck OLED. I never really use the switch anymore

I’m also a cracker in my 30s and still role the dice with neck cracks, but sometimes I chase the dragon too long and end up hurting myself :/

My local fiber provider doesn’t advertise static IPs but they haven’t changed my IP ever. I’ve been using them for going on 5 years

Same. I’m not switching to Jellyfin yet either - mostly because of my boomer parents - but this is getting close to the tipping point for me

- Comment on Self-hosting minecraft 2 months ago:
Just chiming in to include that hosting a modded Minecraft server is relatively easy as well. You use a modded version like Fabric and put the mods in the mods folder in the MC directory on your host. Users have the same mods in their mods folder and it just works normally. Some mods are server-side only

- Comment on Reddit hints at expanded AI-powered search 2 months ago:
Looks like you’re right, last summer reddit and Google made a $60 million deal to allow Google Search to continue crawling new posts, but they’re the only search engine with access to new posts thus far
- Comment on Reddit hints at expanded AI-powered search 2 months ago:
While I agree it sucks, AI might be the only way to fix the dogshit dumpster fire that is reddit search. And now that reddit stopped Google from web scraping new posts it might soon be the only way to find recent information that way.
