Comment on Google Won’t Say Anything About Israel Using Its Photo Software to Create Gaza “Hit List”
Linkerbaan@lemmy.world 9 months agoGoogle doesn’t seem to be interested in stopping it which is weird.
Also Google is already providing cloud services to power israel’s IT system for apartheid with project Nimbus.

If I understand this correctly, they are only using it to track terrorists who actively participated in a terror attack, right? What’s the big deal then…?

No they kidnap random people from Gaza that get recognized in some system. There was a journalist that had nothing to do with Hamas and was recognized by the israel system and kidnapped by the IDF. He was only freed because of outrage. Many others get kidnapped and tortured by the IDF and the IDF even cuts their arms and legs off.

Wouldn’t be surprised, considering who they are friends with, but a source for that?

Doctor at Israeli Field Hospital for Detained Gazans: ‘We Are All Complicit in Breaking the Law’
They put their zip ties on so tight that blood flow gets restricted. The IDF amputates multiple limbs a week from detainees which often have nothing to do with Hmaas.

Their use of Google’s technology is part of Israel’s overall genocide which ultimately targets innocent families and aid workers.
Nobody should be providing tools of war to a country committing genocide. Nobody. Not the U.S. and not Google. Unlike the U.S. though, Google is actually making profits from the tech they sell to Israel, meaning Google is profitting from a genocide.
